My favorite tng episodes are the ones with strange accourances like time loops or alternate realities...things like that. Conundrum is definitely good, cause and effect, remember me, clues, genesis-the one where they start to devolve into animals, parallels, all good things..etc. Those are when the show is in top form imo.

Not too upset by this. Im more upset that lies of p left before the DLC came out so now you have to buy the base game and dlc to play it. Probably won't do that purely out of principle

I don't really consider dead cells a MV. It's a lot closer to roguelite imo. I think people confuse it because aesthetically it really looks like one and was likely inspired somewhat by symphony of the night. In any case one of the most underrated MV's I've played is the mummy demastered. I loved that game, the music is really good on it too. Strider 2014 is underrated as well

Not to nitpick but aren't these types considered roguelite? The repeating levels to get perma upgrades to help you get further each time. I believe roguelikes don't give you meta upgrades like lites do and reset every game. In any case I do enjoy these types of games, hopefully it'll come to console. I've been playing redacted, made by the Callisto protocols guys. It's pretty fun along the same lines as hades

I thought carrion was already on gamepass. I know I played it on there before and it was fun for MetroidVania fans. Citizen sleeper was cool for a game that has effectively zero actual gameplay outside of clicking some buttons here and there, hopefully 2 will expand the gameplay mechanics a bit

Alien isolation is so good, couldn't be happier to hear it's FINALLY getting a sequel. There's not a more deserving game. Its sci horror perfection, so good that even the recent movie was inspired by its design. A game inspired by a movie, that in turn inspired another movie. I feel like I have alien Romulus to thank for this, and no thanks to IGN and Gamespot who gave Alien isolation like 5/10 which is just blasphemy

Holy s I'm happy to hear this. A:I is one of my favorite games of all time and one of the biggest shames in gaming history to me that lt didn't get a sequel. One of the most underrated games of all time, look at the crappy IGN and Gamespot reviews, they gave it like a 5 which is just pure nonsense and likely part of the reason for low launch sales. Glad I didn't listen to them and stopped watching IGN after that. The other game i hope happens someday is bulletstorm 2. The first one was so unique and fun

Yay, another girl boss protagonist, 90% of games have female leads now for some reason. If it's good it doesn't matter but it has a lot to live up to. There's no better genre for atmosphere than sci-horror. Dead space, alien isolation, even the Callisto protocol was decent just not what I was hoping for. Hope this turns out good but sci-horror is a hard genre to get right especially without a huge budget, big team and a lot of time. It's a genre you simply can't skimp and cut corners on unless you're making some pixel art indie game
