The writers just ignored Secret Wars like everyone else did.

I also hate having to do homework in order to watch a movie. I didn't like most of D+'s shows, they could have cut off a couple episodes to have a tighter show or a 2 part movie, or they should have made Eternals into a limited run series and made us give a $%&@ about them.
