Drug Sim Devs will not win a copyright lawsuit, it does not protect the idea or concept of their work as well as mechanics, the idea that you play as a/an _____seller/dealer in order to become the best at the trade is a basic game idea for a lot of genres, just because the idea is drug dealer is the same, and the stories are probably not. The games sit in two different spaces, Drug Sim is in the serious gritty crime space where the drugs give actual buffs, while Schedule 1 is in the fun comedy drugs make you go burr space, they can co-exist and serve different audiences just Schedule 1 is streamer friendly(mostly) and tones down the seriousness of the genre.
