God Usopp&Garp the fist are gods without devil fruits though.

Luffy,Imu,loki&Sengoku are probably the only god devil fruit users.

Dragon might have a god fruit but i think its more likely that he has probably got the easteast fruit making him prone to facing east and controls everything to the east like the east winds,sea,space😂😂😂

Top contenders are Bonney,Lilith,Yamato,Vivi,Loki in that order as of rn Loki is the least likely to join ppl saying luffy asked everyone hes asked joins which is factually wrong weres zombie tree and zombie zebra or chest guy etcetc he will probably join the strawhat grand fleet though.

Vivi is just too weak at this point she would only get in their way on the ship but she could serve a great purpose with the grand fleet.

Yamato said she wanted to explore and go on her own adventure in wano first then she would join the crew so at some point she will 100% join the crew might be off screen after the story has concluded though.

Lilith is a scientist and inventor and really the only one with a clear role she's obviously up to something on elbaf my guess would be making a clone of stella which would effectively leave her free too team up with the strawhats.

Bonney is the obvious first choice for many reasons the only thing against it would be she got no clear role and she wants to sail around the world with kuma.

Only usopp and chopper are weak on the crew tbh but usopps strenght is sniping not close combat and choppers the doctor.

The source material is not and never was well written homie its just good action the character growth and story are next to zero.

Which is fine solo leveling makes up for that with its awesome action its a classic pure battle shonen after all

Uhm who are these multiple impactful deaths you mention there's literally only one impactful death in the whole mahnwa and one semi impactful jinwoo gets upset that random ppl keeps dying cuz he couldn't save em n such solo leveling isnt even close to the more dark animes sure solo leveling has some gore but its just a dark shonen put on a random episode of berserk or claymore for example and it will have more dark disturbing themes in that one episode than the entire solo leveling mahnwa combined solo leveling is good at what it does best mindless action but its famously poorly written the characters got zero growth the story is borderline nonexistent until the last few arcs but don't get me wrong i like solo leveling its great when you want something easy and fun to read
