Such a liar! The first season opener Deku specifically says this is the story how I become the world’s greatest hero. Not Japan, not some day, etc. By taking away the quirk, it makes it impossible not to mention we assume the story ends with him becoming said world’s greatest but clearly that does not happen…he doesn’t even become Japans greatest!! Talk about a let down. I noticed how in future seasons he doesn’t say that any more and it’s switched to a plural how he and his friends are striving to become etc. That first season was very clear -
