Graphics are great but for me the story is far more important I would prefer a game w a great story and plot and gameplay and graphics are probably the least important but like you mentioned in your article they have to sell as much as possible w youngsters being the largest audience they prefer graphics number 1 unfortunately. I grew up playing all the GTAs and for me it lost its appeal a couple titles ago I just can't get into it but the kids love it for me RDR2 it's a million times better. When you try to appease everyone you end up making a less than perfect product. We keep rehashing old games of storylines that have been played out for a long time. Final Fantasy is another title that has lost its appeal from creating the same game over and over. Tech grows too rapidly just as everything else in our capitalist system. It's time to level out and grow slowly or even grow backwards. Less is more now. The gaming industry is a microcosm of everything that is wrong. I'm no communist but it's time for a massive reset and to take a chapter out of the communist handbook before we destroy everything and the planet and atmosphere is destroyed beyond repair.
