Baldur's Gate 3 Players Still Have a Complaint After Patch 8
The whole BG3 is nonsense with a link to BG1-2!
If the game was set within its own universe - fine!
(The game is great graphically, technically, lyrics, ideas - but it's nonsense for a BG sequel saga/universe)
If BG3 takes place in Forgotton Realms 100 years later, the whole game is pointless:
1) BG1-2 takes place 100 years before BG3 = IWC1-ICW2 takes place 80 years after BG1-2 and 30 years after IWD2 = +- now!
In Icewind Dale the Legion of Chimera is created - Two Cambions (children of the elf/devil) are currently terrorizing the north d Ten Cities, reinforcements from Luskan, Letohrad militia = all fighting against two cambions Isair + Madae!
BUT: there's a Thiefling encampment in the suburbs of Baldurs Gate, but no one minds? And everyone is calm?
2) In FR 90% have never seen a Githyanki, nor do they know they exist... The rest have them as creatures of legend, and a bedtime scarecrow - "If you don't eat that broccoli, the Githyanki will take you away at night!
BUT: there are dragons flying over BG city, nautiloids, Gythyanki running around - but everyone is calm and cool?
3) In the Depths, there is an exit from the Underdark, protected by an inn, a labyrinth, magical portals, runes, an army - everyone is afraid, just move a stone...
BUT: Just outside the town of BG is the exit from the Underdark, which only has a ladder - But everyone is cool and nothing happens, no stress!
And there are many more problems like that in the game!
