Za off cos I am fr. If you haven't noticed, they already made Boruto way more powerful. It seems to me that they wanted to move on from Naruto and make Boruto stand on his own power. Though a lot of it is probably borrowed power from Momoshiki. He is wielding the power as his own. Trust me I wish Naruto would return as well. But I just can't see it happening.
As much as I wish he would return, I don't see it happening. At least not until the end of the series. I mean Kawaki trapped them in a pocket universe. Essentially Boruto needs to force Kawaki to free them. As we may have previewed the beginning of that fight at the beginning of Boruto
