I hope you're wrong, and they don't touch RE1 again. The fake fans want modern controls and third person/OTS perspective because they're too lazy to master the fixed camera, and tank controls. Capcom unfortunately will go to any length to ruin the RE franchise. Either make new RE games, or move on to other IPs. There's no need to appease these new fans and fake fans. If they didn't remake RE1 again before RE2R, then there's no need to move backwards and revisit 1998 again.
