No Dragon Quest 4,5,6,7, or 9? The Zenithian trilogy is centered around a heaven like kingdom, in 7 you literally go to heaven, and become buddies with a diety character literally based off of (and in the japanese version named) God, that you can even spar with, and in 9 the story is about a customizable protagonist that's literally an angel trying to get their powers back so that they can save heaven, Im not even exaggerating.

What about games like saints row 2, or dead rising where literally everything can be used as a weapon? Dead Rising goes even further where most of the weapons even have their own moves sets, while most of skyrim's weapons recycle the same 8 or 9 move sets

It's a JRPG, and historical fiction. Japanese developers have always had fun creating games around historical concepts look at Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, and Bladestorm (which also features a fictionalized version of Joan of Arc) I don't see any issues with it since it's clearly done in the name of fun, in the game they're talking about she even has a cutsy cartoon frog sidekick lol

Love these skins, I bought the game, and the battle pass just to get them, and running around as butthead with a cleaver, performing executions, and seeing their bodies strewn about the Battlefield has to be one of the funniest thing things I've seen in years 🤣

Try Body Harvest on the N64, it was created by DMA designs before they became Rockstar North, and it's essentially an fully open world 3D time travelling game that mixes gta with Zelda, and was really advanced for it's time, your even able to fly planes, and swim years before San Andreas let you do it for the first time in GTA.

In Bully when you pass the chemistry classes it lets you craft weapons with the chemistry set in Jimmy's room, and in Red Dead Redemption, John gets the ability to craft tonics, and vittles when you complete the survivalist, and hunter challenges, look it up.

I haven't played Breath of the wild or Tears of the kingdom yet, but Im really enjoying Echos of wisdom. I love the balance between the old and new mechanics, as well as the ability to summon enemies, and objects. I mean c'mon you get to summon gibdos, and darknuts.

As much as I absolutely love Japan weve already had 5 games based off the different regions, and I feel like if they were to return it should be in a remake or a legends game. Now I'm hoping for something new, like a region based off of Austraila, Eastern Europe, China, or India.

It sounds like Playstation's the lucky one, as long as they don't shut down the ps3 store you can still get sonic's ultimate genesis collection which has most of these games, and most of the dreamcast games are still listed
