Variations are cool and all but not helping the game for me to be completely honest. Coming from someone who has milked the game dry to the point where you wait for more content. Then they release more pals except more then half can be bred using pals one would already have from the first few hours of playing the game. A large portion of those pals being different variations. What sets palworld and pokemon apart right now is every mon is different then the pal minus evolutions ofc. Palworld needs different pals in general to compete not variations. I didn't have to explore half of the new content to find the pals I could easily breed at my base simply by logging on. And I love exploration but I felt like I got more in 2d pixel games then I'm getting in palworld currently. Just my honest opinion.
