A sequel would be great and perhaps something more concrete is being done to "test the waters" with the Nephilim DLC.

But to conclude that a potential sequel is coming based on the cited listings is maybe jumping the gun. I mean, having experience in "Entertainment" and/or the "Film Industry" is just the nature of the beast. I'm sure these same points were sought for development of DOOM: The Dark Ages and before that Cyberpunk.

Let's just be excited for the upcoming DLC for now. That at least in in reach and tangible.

The thing is...that it's THEIR tech to emulate. And we don't know the details of the emulation software being used. It very well could be the same emulation used for NSO or prior systems like the Wii/WiiU. Or maybe it is Snes9x or BSNES? Who knows?

Is this a head turning revelation? Sure! However, it's their right to do with what they own as they see fit.
