It is probably ported to PlayStation, which is another thing they copied from Bethsheba. I remember when Skyrim came out it was bricking some people's PlayStation. The save file would eventually break the game. I actually returned it and got the Xbox version instead and that ran fine.
A Game Inspired by Oblivion Is Now Beating It in the Charts
I mean Oblivion was released in 2006, right? So the fact that the game remastered is selling like a new release says a lot about Bethsheba. It says absolutely nothing about actual newly released games that are trying to compete with it. They're a brand new game. Now there's going to be an article about every single player open world game in a fantasy setting comparing it to a game that is turning 20? How uninteresting.
Oblivion Remastered Player Gets Locked Out of the Main Quest
So if you break the main quest would you have to shut all the existing gates on your own?

So the player saved him in a mod? I don't think that counts.
Oblivion Remastered Player Ignores the Main Quest, Regrets It
You're overwhelmed at the gate no matter what level you enter. It's supposed to be difficult. I actually think it is best to wait, because as soon as you get it done Oblivion gates open up everywhere and mapping out the world gets more complicated with all the oblivion gates with monsters to attack you.
The first time I played through I tackled the main quest right away. Then later I found out those stones from the Oblivion gate were extremely useful but I had no way to get anymore because I'd closed the gates. I think that's much worse than waiting until you're leveled more.

That's debatable. I think long term a computer is cheaper. It cost more upfront but it's easier to get games at a lower price, and you can upgrade your build as needed with small investments here and there. Consoles are extremely hair to buy at release value, because of scalpers, and the game prices are steadily increasing. Switch is talking about upgrading to $90 games. I can jump on steam right now and find a decent game at $40 and under.
