Marvel Rivals
All this game had to do was be like Overwatch without any of the annoying bits from Overwatch 2. It did that and more. I'm glad something has filled that Overwatch-shaped hole in my heart, even if it has that annoying Moon Knight ultimate.
R.E.P.O.
Currently, my favorite game to play with friends. It's basically just a Lethal Company-like with the addition of goofy robots whose mouths move when you speak, but somehow that small feature elevates this to one of the best co-op extraction horror games out there. If you've got friends looking for a game that's somehow both hilarious and terrifying, you need to check this out.
Elden Ring
Quite possibly my favorite game of all time. I always loved Fromsoftware's other soulslikes, but this is the one that sunk its teeth into me and made me want to uncover every single part of the map. I've played through it four times and have poured about 600 hours into it, so it's safe to say I love it. If you're not afraid of being stomped repeatedly in a soulslike and you somehow haven't played this, it's about time you gave it a chance.
At the very least, you need to play it to meet Alexander, The Warrior Jar. Love that guy.
Days Gone Remastered
This is a weird comfort food game for me. I acknowledge that the story feels like a few bad seasons of Sons Of Anarchy with some characters who are about as likable as a hemorrhoid, but I just like it for some strange reason. I enjoy planning out how to efficiently take out massive hordes of Freakers or gangs of Rippers. I like being stealthy, crafting bombs and distraction items, and being a biker who likes to mutter borderline psychotic things to himself. So if you go in with a low expectation of the story, Days Gone can be a good time. Just get ready to cringe from some of the dialogue.
