Not having Control/Alan Wake here is crazy work. There are way more layers to the world and the backstory included in optional convos, collectibles and using a lil logic as u unlock and explore new areas. I dont even think Elden Ring does this particularly well.

GRMember what Naruto does is way more complex than most shonen mc. But a lot of fans dont like the empathy approach bcuz they are immature kids.

Its popular BECAUSE of how excellent it is. 7s characters are incredibly well written, Sephiroth is peak jrpg villain with an iconic sountrack and inspired many other long sword villains. Cloud is iconic. It has the best love triangle and its themes are still relevant. The gameplay of 7 is better than 6. And the materia system is great. Its always 7 because thats the peak of the series. Nobody asks why its always Persona 5 lol.

I feel like discussing Naruto and Sasuke's death scares here was sort of silly here. It would have been better to compare it to Itachi's resurrection, which enhamced his character and impacted Sasuke's resolve.

Agreed. I think they also anticipate geting additionak consumers who will jump onbiard and get all 3 games, especially if there is some kind of trilogy edition. But I am glad that the director of the trilogy said he will make the 3rd game easier to platinum. FF7 Rebirth was ROUGH and took like very long for me.
