Your first sentence clearly says why....they do this all the time because they have no faith in their product so they try to get some cheap goodwill by aping an existing playerbase. This game is literally nothing like Silent Hill in any aspect, and runs at 720p on PS5 which is astoundingly embarrassing

Not interested in any third party controllers if they can't interface with the actual profile app on the console. The SCUF on my PS5 only having three you have to remember by color instead of how many thousands the Elite can store is a huge dealbreaker
