Just two small corrections. Each copy of Pokémon Ranger is only capable of ever giving a single manaphy egg. So even if you restart your game, you won't be able to get another egg to transfer. And on top of that, you need two or more systems to shiny hunt, as the egg will never produce a shiny for the trainer that originally receives the egg.
