Ppl don't hate him because he is new to ff7 he is hated because every 5 seconds he says cloud witch is annoying all in itself but what makes it worse is he slows down your game play by stopping you Everytime you hit a spot he wants you to explore. Ppl don't want to be stopped right in the middle of what they are doing to be told I want you to do this or do that. It wouldn't be so bad if he only did it a few times but he does it so many times it's annoying. New characters are welcomed and loved it done right. I thought Roach was perfectly done as a great example. Ff7 can bring in new characters but they need to do it right. Heck I would have loved if they added a new playable character that was scrapped from the og ff7. Rebirth is a super fun game I give it a 10 out of 10 but they need to tone down some.
