This doesn't just affect parkour/speedbridging, this pretty much affects all of competitive Minecraft. Including PvP, UHC, and even survival speedbuilding/building competitions, as a member of the PvP community, I really hope Mojang reverts these changes, as this might cause another split in version like 1.9 did. Even though I prefer 1.9+ PvP over 1.8, it was still a horrible thing to do for the community. The only difference between this update and 1.9 is this update has no upsides for competitive Minecraft. I pray this doesn't happen.
