See AllDemon Slayer Will Officially Kill Anime Forever
This seems like a really bizarre argument. Demon Slayer killed the box office and was successful because it built a following with the manga and with the show, that's why there was anticipation for the movie in the first place.
Anime as a industry is not going to abandon season shows as a format altogether, a million random anime movies come out all the time that no one watches.
The wait between some of the past seasons has been long, I think between season 1 and 2 or 2 and 3 there was like a 2-year wait, so it's the same timeline it's not like they're pumping out new seasons with full 24 episodes every year, the wait times is already long because of the quality it demands. The swordsmith village Arc felt super short because it was only 11 episodes and we had to wait after that anyway....
I'm not even really sure what you're on about or what you're complaining about
