They authored the story line so bad the only option left was to cancel, one of the others of the book series made comments about the TV show and had nothing good to say about it shows just how terrible the show was

Comparing this to the game of thrones isn't even a comparison, the writer of the game of thrones decided to go from the books to the TV series because it made more $ and never finished the books, the garbage ass version of the wheel of time shouldn't be allowed to use the name, the only similarities was the characters names and the very basic sense of what the books were

Its really sad that THIS is the only series you watch, the only thing that ties it to the book series is the names of characters, just the names mind you, and in the most basic of terms does it even touch the book series

The TV show that you love is one of the worst programs ever made, even one of the writers of the series couldn't say anything good about it
