Even though it's not the same genre Space Marine 2 definitely peel a lot of HD2 players. Also for a game that just reversed every nerf to weapons they have ever done and across the board buffed pretty much everything in an attempt to appease the whiniest player base only managed to bump its players by 20k maybe there won't need to be a big game before Christmas. Jump ship is on a lot of my friends lists as an alternative to HD2 decision whiplash, constant bugs, and inconsistent gameplay difficulty. One week Super HD is hard and fun, the next day it's so easy nobody dies all mission? Crazy company being driven by its discord channel or something cuz they are just asking for ideas at this point. Anyway, Arrowhead obviously can't handle a big game so maybe when it's down to 10k players they will be able to keep those people happy like they did with HD1. With glacial development rates being likely at that point.

My thoughts are, who even cares anymore? They messed the game up so bad it took them the better part of a year to fix "most" of the bugs. 9/10 players have left and the ones that are still around won't be enough to justify development through this time next year. Guaranteed dead game if anything decent drops in the shooter genre before Christmas.
