The true final ending is the Best Girls Alive: Age of the Stars ending, which requires you to take on the frenzied flame just before burning the tree, saving Melina from becoming the kindling maiden, then fighting Malenia for her needle, purging the flame, then going through the Age of Stars ending as normal

It doesn't change anything, but you do get thr satisfaction of knowing that both best girls are alive instead of just the one.

Are people really complaining about this sort of thing..?

How exactly does Himawari having Kurama now take away from Naruto's legacy when Himawari and Boruto literally /are/ Naruto and Hinata's legacy, and Minato and Kushina's legacy, and the entire Hyuga clans legacy..

As for comments like "nothing Himawari does will be unique in any way."....are you for real...? She literally /just/ tapped into the power she has for the first time, and she's already making tailed beast balls and healing like a Shinju, what she will be capable of in the future hasn't been shown yet, that kind of judgement is very premature and clearly rooted in just not liking things..

It's strange, for all tha5 this article says about it I've been hearing almost exclusively /good things/ about the direction that Boruto has been going, in comments by people who claimed that they didn't initially like it

There has been massive hype over Himawari being Naruto's successor, especially given the view that female characters in Naruto were largely irrelevant, I've legitimately never heard anyone have something bad to say about Himawari, and she more than deserves some spotlight.

If Naruto were to become a Jinchuriki again it seems like that would be incredibly redundant, him suddenly getting a great deal of focus and mastering new things just for the sake of staying overpowered in the new setting would be... Strange.. Honestly.. He's not the main character anymore, neither is Sasuke, and I won't even go into Hinata and Sakura, who have gotten... How much to do exactly...?

If you really want to write a complaint article, that one would be much more reasonable than complaining about Naruto getting a "nerf" that allows newer generation characters to step into the spotlight, Naruto and Sasuke had their turn already, two entire series and multiple movies and a huge manga worth of a turn.

I think that if people want to see Naruto and Sasuke being op that would be better material to dwell on.
