They like to mention a lot in dragon age veilguard that the blight has changed. But besides that, if you think about it, the gods Arch demons aren't like the other archteams they're tied to them to make them immortal. So essentially you're not killing the archdemon you're killing the Elvin gods immortality. You're not You're not killing like the link to the blight I don't know. I'm trying to make excuses for BioWare but they could just easily changed. The blight had changed because of the gods so they can just say because of the gods messing with the archdemons and the blight so much it wasn't like killing an original archdemon I don't know BioWare can find excuses. There's a lot of little holes they can fill in to explain why darvin didn't die, but I do agree that he should have just volunteered to do it and said I should have died at Wyissop.
