Most people don't understand what being a supernova means. Supernova, or a super rookie, is a pirate who achieved a bounty of at least 100,000,000 Beli before going to the New World. Ace was a supernova when he was a pirate rookie in his time. Just because you're not one of the 11 supernovas who got to Sabaody at the same time as Luffy doesn't mean you aren't a supernova at all. On the other hand, Blackbeard isn't a supernova, because when he entered the New World his bounty was 0 Beli. He is however a member of the Worst Generation because he started his solo pirate career at the same time as Luffy and just like the other 11 supernovas, he quickly gained fame and power. So in short, a supernova is a rookie with at least 100,000,000 Beli bounty before going to the New World and the Worst Generation are specifically the 11 supernovas who arrived at Sabaody at the same time as Luffy plus the Emperor Blackbeard.
