Sorry but didn't have to read past the first paragraph to see that the writer is obviously Pokémon biased.

Pokémon gets a new game pretty consistently (a little too often, causing quality concerns). Meanwhile Digimon doesn't release a game nearly as often as Pokémon. Thus doesn't have nearly as wide of a fanbase for games, so this doesn't feel like a fair comparison and feels more like a Pokémon fan trying to act like their game is superior just because another competitor game came out.
