IMO promotions like this will just create online eBay scams, FOMO and a sense of missing out due to geographical restrictions. Yes, a large part of the target audience is in the US, but these promotions alienate the large communities on the other continents and even Canada/Mexico in North America creating a sense of what's the point if the US gets all the goodies but we can't or just have to pay up (especially if its promotion exclusive skins which in this case thankfully it isn't).
