Very Entertaining episode with great humor & action. Skip Tracer Randy, always a Hoot! Content for Chen, she deserves & earned being top of class. She got a position right away. Of course it had to be opposite shift of Bradford. It makes sense. How many sergeants can be on same shift & work together?! Nolan was surprisingly efficient & tough. Good to see. Harper's relationship with Mother was sobering & real.
The Rookie Season 7 Episode 13 Ending, Explained
This episode was decent, especially the development of Miles. However, the very realistic depiction of US adoption system is ------ pitiful. What makes a good parent? The need to earn $100,000 per annum to provide healthy food, a computer, home entertainment system, expensive dwelling, cell phone? Or real love? Today's standards of raising children is idiotic & fantastical! Yes Nolan's & Bailey's lives are extremely dangerous & they could die & leave the child parentless. Yeah so? Regular people( parents) could unexpectedly die as well. The adoption system makes it incredibly difficult to adopt despite there being so many children needing a "home" & love. Being a child( it really didn't exist) prior to 1950 & after is 100% different & unrealistic. Nolan & Bailey deserved to adopt & this particular point in the episode was infuriating.

Luke Cage! Especially up until Power Man #47. Practically Every story was street level & strongly depicted the US African struggle & plight. Even today he still approaches everyt'ing from a street perspective & never forgets where he comes from.
