I don’t think so. I’ve tried watching One Piece multiple times, but it’s just not for me. It honestly feels like a waste of time. I’m definitely open to trying the new anime, but I doubt it will come close to something like Solo Leveling. Personally, I prefer stories that are more focused and impactful — not long, drawn-out arcs where nothing meaningful really happens. Sure, One Piece has its funny moments, but that alone isn’t enough to keep me engaged. The constant flashbacks and filler content feel like a huge time sink. I’d much rather stick to shows like Frieren or Solo Leveling that respect the viewer’s time and deliver a strong narrative.
