I totally agree. However, after playing the original ff7, watching the cgi movie, and playing ff7 remake and rebirth. I feel like the feeling is not mutual. Aerith definitely have stronger feelings for cloud than she had for Zack. But it seems like cloud don’t have that same feelings for aerith. I feel like he felt obligated to protect her than he is trying to build a relationship with her. Cloud however showed that he had strong relationship with Tifa and she feels the same about him.
Me, personally I think that cloud and Jessie have the best chemistry.
