Gaming is just a cash grab now, I've been a Gamer for 25 years and the last 10 to 15 years I've gradually became more casual because it's a rip off. Games take way too long to make, early access is a rip off...they make you pay for a game that isn't no where near finished then you pay again when it's complete and saying complete is being nice. Single player mode and campaigns are shorter and shorter. Back in my day the developers developed a game then sold it. Demos were the taster if you wanted to buy. What they do now is ridiculous. Developers are now being allowed to make money without even putting in the effort. Remasters over 3 or 4 consoles is unacceptable and unnecessary. They are literally making a never ending profit for the same product. It's insanity. And anyone who thinks Sony should get away with promoting their 700 quid pro model as no disc console as a good thing and they are giving their customers choice. Yes let's have the stupid consumer pay 700 quid for a more powerful console we deliberately kept back to make more profit where they can't watch dvds or blurays, they can't buy cheap 2nd or 3rd hand games which 99% of the time are more expensive to buy and download on our stores. We even will sell games we know are broken and glitchy for 50 60 quid. It's called control. Sony just lost a lawsuit for deliberately trying to stop third party controllers and equipment from working on older models. I'll also point out, there are so much more glitches, technical issues etc and they think it's acceptable. Contact support. And they are unhelpful at best. Technology advancements were supposed to create a better experience....its done the opposite. They treat the Gamer as mugs and yet people still throw their money at them.

I agree. I enjoy a couple of the assassin creed games now, odessy and vallhala but I remember when assassin's creed first came out and I didn't get on board, I hated the climbing mechanism. But I also found replaying the ones I like, I was getting irritated lol because it did feel like that was the main focus. Hey I'd be delighted with just a whole new skyrim. Just give us a new map and a new story throw in some better graphics and im down lol
