Its not about being a fan or not. Nobody's complaining about back stories but this is a MOVIE not anime or manga where we can pause or go at our own pace.
Showing a pumped up fight scene, then mellowing it down later, then do this several times is off-putting. They should've balanced the fight scenes+backstories equally. By the time Akaza's backstory began, I was literally begging the movie to be over.
