If you think that those forms of “fast mana” are anywhere near Crypt, Dockside, and Jeweled Lotus, then you’re either being disingenuous or you want the format to be faster than what’s healthy. Having restrictions to gain 1 mana isn’t a real problem, same with needing synergies to properly break Grim Monolith and Mana Vault. Ancient Tomb takes a land drop and needs you to take the damage to accelerate. Rituals shouldn’t even be in the discussion, same with tax cards+carpet that rely on your opponents. The only ones I see an argument for banning are Sol Ring and Cradle.
The big thing is that a base version of a card shouldn’t exceed $50 but WotC massively under-printed to sell boxes.
