See AllOne Dune: Awakening Class Is Virtually Unbeatable
People who don't have 200+ in the game don't understand that swordmaster is only good for PVE and some PVP. If you're fighting outside in a large open space ranged combat is superior in every aspect. In fact with our group we have a HRT team for guild mates being attacked in the DD it consist of 4 members 2 melee (myself included) 2 ranged and one support with melee and ranged switches.
As per weapons in melee. Dirks are bis. Then it's rapiers, and swords last. Swords are good for AOE, rapiers for fast but open attacks. And dirks once you've mastered the melee class. I consider mastering melee when you can parry crippling strike Everytime. It's hard to learn but once you have the timing and animations down you can win 1v2s with ease.

What to Expect From Dune: Awakening's August 12 Update
Because all of the PVE players build over the resources and lock their fellows out of it. There's plenty of nodes to farm stravidum and titanium in the PVE. You guys decided to build over it and prevent people from gathering it. The only reason to enter PVP is for large spice rings and the rare BPs for the labs each week. That's it. If you're not at a point where mk5s are printable then you should NOT be out in the DD. I swear all these so called PVE only players ignored the stories and quests and just speedrun to DD content to complain. This game teaches you everything and has loads of content. Y'all just like to complain on some real.
