Yeah it will there's really. Ot that much left to cover elbaf is gonna be 2nd to last official big arc and that will take 2-3 years to finish it's possible for it to finish before then
Unfortunately DS2 scholar of the first sin edition was the remake for the basic ds2 they did it so soon because the original ds2 caught so much heat that they literally made huge changes to the game resulting in scholar of the first sin edition but a modern remake would be cool if they ever actually do it
