One Piece: Characters Who Have Killed Luffy's Friends
Its good to highlight that death does still occur within One Piece! Pedro's sacrifice inspired Carrot (who inherited Pedro's will) and Cat Viper made sure to make Perospero pay for causing Pedro's death! Ace's death helped Luffy mature and his will was inherited by Luffy, Sabo who had his lost memories restored by the trauma, Marco, Izo, Tama, and Yamato (Luffy, Marco, Izo, Tama, and Yamato would all inherit Ace's will to see Wano freed from Kaido and Orochi which Ace had inherited from Oden as he was the former 2nd Division Commander who was like a brother to Whitebeard and crewmate to Ace's biological father Roger! All five played roles in the raid on Onigashima with Izo giving his life keeping a CP0 agent from meddling in the raid after ensuring Usopp escaped with his sister Kiku and comrade Kinemon joining Usopp in encouraging them to live on to see Momo as Shogun and Wano free)!
Dragon Ball: Gohan, And 2 Other Characters Who Might Obtain Ultra Instinct
Gohan is better off following his own path! Same goes for Broly! Jiren is a maybe! Unfortunately the Granolah Saga suggests Beerus perfers Ultra Ego over Ultra Instinct and he's had millenia to train with Whis yet still hasn't mastered it! Mind you Beerus might take his training seriously if Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta, Broly, and/or Frieza start closing the gap!
I think everyone is forgetting one person who might have a chance, the now mortal Merus! Sure he may have lost most of his angelic abilities but he already understands the basics of Ultra Instinct and could reawaken it as a mortal or at least achieve Ultra Instinct Sign! I mean if Goku can use the technique as a mortal than Merus should be able to as well and would have a head start giving the Galactic Patrol a true powerhouse of their own who unlike last time can fight as a mortal! Additionally he might be able to teach it to others within the Galactic Patrol or at least the basics to those with the aptitude for it!
Dragon Ball: This Is Gohan's Best Transformation, And It Isn't Even Close
Personally I'm a huge fan of BEAST GOHAN! Mind you while I kinda wish Toriyama had kept the silver tail from the original design (the blue skinned one which I have dubbed as Nightmare Gohan as the skin color reminds me of Nightmare Luffy) as one of the things that sets Gohan apart from other Saiyan hybrids is his tail gene wasn't recessive which is why he is the only one who can go Great Ape naturally! This suggests Gohan is more primal than other hybrids due to inheriting the tail which Universe 6 Saiyans lost via their evolution as their homeworld was never destroyed like Universe 7 Sadala was! Kid Gohan's berserker rage was almost like Broly's Wrathful state albeit he didn't completely lose it presumably due to his Human type Earthling genetics which are implied to counter the Saiyan instincts of Great Ape as he was able to focus on Vegeta after Goku contacted him telepathically (I personally believe Saiyans evolved to avoid harming blood relatives as Great Ape as we see Kid Gohan and GT Goku be tamed by a blood relations cause of some instinct, though Gohan's ability to resist cause Earthling mind can't be discounted) and in Tree of Might he refused to harm Icarus and became enraged at Turles for attacking him!
One Piece: Logia Fruits Are Underrated, Here's How To Make Them Strong Again
Sabo's Awakening would presumably allow him to control any and all fire around him, maybe even allow him to produce Mother Flame! Additionally it could upgrade his fruit to become superior to Akainu's as Magma and volcanic activity would just produce more flame or Sabo could literally turn battlefields into raging wildfires he can control! Additionally who knows maybe Sabo could gain the ability to produce and manipulate different kinds of flames like those produced by Marco, thus literally living up to his title of Flame Emperor which would give him flames that can heal others allowing him to better protect his brother Luffy!
One Piece: Logia Fruits Are Underrated, Here's How To Make Them Strong Again
I myself have always felt like Kuzan and Akainu's battle on Punk Hazard involved Logia Awakening as soon as Awakenings became prevalent! Still I kinda wonder how Kizaru's Awakening would manifest as light doesn't actually scream anything in particular unless he gains the ability to create light based constructs like Vegapunk's hologram technology with Kizaru able to make them solid similar to those gloves Atlas wore, heck maybe even apply Armament Haki too them! Additionally Crocodile's Awakening could increase the effectiveness of his ability to counter moisture allowing him better defense against his primary weakness by drying up the atmosphere and those around him!
Still I feel like the basic Awakening should be permanent alteration of the environment like we see on Punk Hazard as I have a theory that many of the one season only islands or places like Rajin Island were caused by past Logia's Awakening their DF altering their climates or creating really odd weather phenomenon (Raijin Island being the site of a past Rumble Rumble fruit user's Awakening with said user proceeding Enel)!
Today Is A Sad Day For All Dragon Ball Fans
There are rights issues to sort out and they probably need to figure out where to go! I think we just need to be patient as Toriyama passed just last year so I'm not surprised its still on hiatus!
One Piece: Oda Reveals Two Pirates Who Will Surpass Rocks D. Xebec
I feel like Sengoku is being a bit biased when he said Garp was protecting the Celestial Dragons, as odds are he was more likely fighting to protect the slaves being hunted as Garp himself has no love for the Celestial Dragons given he has on record dared to insult them while talking to Sabo's adopted brother Sterry when Sterry expressed his desire to become a World Noble! Just cause Garp is a marine doesn't mean he is loyal to the Celestial Dragons and I personally believe he only protected them cause he has to as a Marine even if he himself hates their practices as the God's Valley incident would definitely make Garp aware of the Celestial Dragons depravity due to the human hunting competition! Mind you its unclear if Sengoku is aware the God's Knights were present during God's Valley incident, and he may omit that information as its likely top secret if he was aware of it as they aren't widely known group! I think its telling Garp teamed up with Roger to take down Xebec, as I just don't see Garp fighting alongside the God's Knights unless forced to (such as his subordinates lives being threatened or being possessed through Imu's devil pact which he may have a resistance to due to being a D carrier and/or Conquer's Haki user)! Again Sengoku likely wasn't present during those events and while he is telling some of what truly went down, he is likely unaware or unwilling to reveal information like the Human Hunting Competition! I mean he was likely privy to more information regarding the incident than other Marines, but again even the Five Elders conceal information from Fleet Admiral Akainu regarding Doflamingo and Imu (as its suggested by their disagreement with Akainu that the order to fake Doflamingo's abdication of his Warlord position came from someone above them which suggests Imu, though they seemingly refuse to elaborate as knowledge of Imu is likely a carefully guarded secret as it contradicts the idea of the Empty Throne)!
One Piece Chapter 1154 Proves Why Whitebeard Is The Greatest Pirate In History
By not getting involved in Wano, it drove Ace to travel there himself which would lead him forming bonds with Tama and Yamato who would go on to aid Luffy, inheriting Ace's will to see Wano freed from Kaido and Orochi, thus even though Ace died at Marineford along with his captain and surrogate father, his will was picked up by others who knew him! Heck his desire to free Wano could be seen as Ace inheriting Oden's will! Just as Roger pointed out his crew were too early after finding the One Piece, Whitebeard's reluctance to engage in a conflict with Kaido in Wano was smart as odds are such a conflict would attract interest of Big Mom and her allies! Mind you its possible Shanks might side with Whitebeard especially due to his own ties to Oden, though even then it could also draw the attention of the World Government who might just use it as an excuse to invade a foreign country! Not to mention Pluton's location in Wano means that an all out war could have lead to it being discovered! Basically by holding off Whitebeard gave the Straw Hat's alliance its best shot, with Marco and Izo joining in cause they both wished to see Wano freed, with Izo assisting Usopp in saving his injuried sister and Kinemon while also taking out a member of CP0 at the cost of his own life, dying a hero of Wano much like his comrade Asura Doji!
One Piece Chapter 1154 Proves Why Whitebeard Is The Greatest Pirate In History
Shanks also ensured Whitebeard and Ace's corpses received proper burials in addition to preventing Moria from getting ahold of them after he got away from Doflamingo (with Dr. Hogback and Absalom, Moria could have easily stolen their bodies as Hogback is a renowned surgeon and he could have easily used his prestige to convince the Marines he had come to Marineford to assist in treating the wounded while using his position as a doctor to funnel bodies to Moria with the help of Absalom's invisibility)! Again by taking them Shanks crew could prevent Moria from gaining access to them as they could presumably use Observation Haki to counter Absalom's invisibility and as Pirates, Hogback wouldn't have any in with them as very few people are aware of his association with Moria and they'd likely be weary of Hogback if said association was known!
Again Whitebeard was definitely a legendary pirate who was both respected and feared! Still he wasn't invincible and he avoided getting involved in Wano despite Oden being like a little brother to him and Izo being a native of Wano cause he knew a conflict between two Yonko as powerful as himself and Kaido could destroy Wano! Not to mention without local allies, Whitebeard's crew would be largely considered outsiders and Orochi could frame them as foreign invaders taking advantage of Izo's association with Oden to conquer Wano! Mind you WHITEBEARD's unwillingness to go to Wano, is what lead Ace to go there Oden was the former 2nd Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates before Ace took over the position so Ace felt a since of duty to save Wano from Kaido! That's how he met Tama and Yamato! Still it was WHITEBEARD's reluctance to take on Kaido that helped set the stage for the Straw Hats alliance as they were in a better position to take on Kaido due to being allied with the Kozuki Clan lead by Momo, Oden's first born and heir! Additionally Kaido is a young pirate in his prime while Whitebeard is an old man!
One Piece Chapter 1154 Proves Why Whitebeard Is The Greatest Pirate In History
Whitebeard was definitely a powerhouse and a great pirate! He is one of the few people outside of the Roger Pirates to know the truth about the Will of D and information about the Void Century! He also knew about Lunarians as he told stories about them to his crew while drunk which is how Marco knew about them! Yet he never sought to conquer the world himself and only used his position as Yonko to protect those he cared about like his old friend Neptune making him one of the few humans that Fishmen and Merfolk respected cause by declaring Fishman Island his territory he put an end to Fishman and Merfolk being kidnapped within his territory something even the WG couldn't do despite the fact slavery is technically illegal though the trade is pretty much tolerated cause the Celestial Dragons power over the Marines as they have the authority to summon an Admiral with only Issho being the only Admiral willing to oppose slavery outright (mind you the Marines who took down Fisher Tiger did conceal Koala's status as a slave and allow her to return to her village in exchange for the villagers betraying Fisher Tiger who was wanted for his attack on the Holy Land and from the Marine's perspective they were just eliminating a dangerous pirate and sworn enemy of the World Government so to them their actions were justified and you could argue they simply looked the other way and ignored Koala's slave status)! Again Whitebeard was respected and while Shanks and Whitebeard weren't necessarily allies, they both cared about Ace and Shanks only clashed with Whitebeard cause he feared Ace would lose to Blackbeard which ultimately came to pass! Still Shanks aided Whitebeard by holding off Kaido preventing him from turning Marineford into a four way war between the World Government forces, the pirates trying to save Ace, Kaido's forces, and the Blackbeard Pirates which would have made the conflict chaotic!
Eiichiro Oda Just Ruined The Most Significant Moment In One Piece History
Oda hasn't ruined anything as this is all just speculation and if he really wanted to get rid of said arm he would have done it long before he met Luffy! Also don't forget Shanks said he bet his arm on the new era! Also the only reason Shanks is going after One Piece is cause Luffy is a Yonko and it is nothing more than him staying true to the promise he made to Luffy which is symbolized by Shanks giving Luffy's his Straw Hat which originally belonged to Roger! Luffy's promise was to create a pirate crew stronger than the Red-haired Pirates and surpass Shanks! Shanks showed no interest in One Piece until Luffy defeated Kaido and became an Emperor and the only reason he is seeking it now is cause of the promise between him and Luffy!
One Piece: Garp Is Not A Hero And Shouldn't Be Remembered As One
True! I also would like to remind people that title was given to Garp by the WG to cover up the fact Garp teamed up with Roger to defeat Rocks! Garp like Smoker and Tashigi in Arabasta probably didn't want the title as he knew the truth of what went down! Additionally the WG tends to conceal most of their worst atrocities and the human hunting competition wasn't likely something widely know to members of the public! Again the WG covered up Arabasta, demonized the Archeologists of Ohara, and convinced the world of the lie that Amber Lead was a contagious disease which made Law's early life a living hell! Heck if it wasn't for Issho taking a stand in Dressrosa, Doflamingo's actions in Dressrosa would have been covered up as well! Garp also didn't become a legend until after God Valley and was only considered a Hero of the Marines!
One Piece: Oda Confirms Zoro Is Far Weaker Than Fans Thought, But He Can Grow Stronger In 1 Way
I'm glad that Oda made it clear that Zoro still has a way to go using a veteran like Gaban to point it out so there is no debate! Just cause Zoro can defeat King doesn't mean he's Yonko level as King is just a Yonko Commander! Zoro did manage to cut Kaido with Enma but that's it, he was nowhere near close to beating a Yonko like Kaido! As much as I like Zoro, I think its important not to overestimate his feats!
One Piece: How Oda Killed The Hype Of The Revolutionary Army
Again people need to remember the Revolutionary Army's main enemies are the Celestial Dragons, God's Knights, Five Elders, and Imu! Five Elders and Imu alone wield immense political and physical power! Even the run of the mill Celestial Dragons have the authority to summon a Marine Admiral and authority over CP0! Heck their recent attack on the Holy Land was likely an operation that the Revolutionaries had been planning for years thus they likely weren't powerful enough or in a position to save Ginny back then!
One Piece: How Oda Killed The Hype Of The Revolutionary Army
Garp stated during Marineford that Luffy inherited Conquer's Haki and the odds of Dragon having if are therefore super high as we know Conquer's Haki can be passed down to one's offspring as Ace, Katakuri, & Yamato have all proven give at least one of their parents is a confirmed Conquer's Haki user (Roger, Big Mom, and Kaido are all confirmed Conquer's Haki users with at least one of their children inheriting it)! Dragon also has the noble qualities of a king as he seeks to overthrow the despotic Celestial Dragons while respecting nobel royals like Cobra and took in Sabo, a noble (note Sabo's parents are lesser nobles not Celestial Dragons who are World Nobles) who despises the actions of his parents and the nobles of the Goa Kingdom who burned the Grey Terminal!
We also have to remember Dragon is a D carrier which also boosts the likelihood of him inheriting Conquer's Haki! In the anime we can also see him block an attack from young Sabo someone trained by Garp alongside Ace & Luffy! Dragon also managed to save Luffy from Smoker so we know he can hold his own against East Blue Smoker! Not to mention Kuma, Ivankov, and Sabo are all Dragon's subordinates and Ivankov noted Luffy's strong will was like his father! Yes, Dragon didn't save Ginny but that's like pointing out Whitebeard didn't save Wano from Kaido (Whitebeard's reasoning is that a battle between two Yonko could easily destroy Wano especially without the Kozuki Clan and their retainers to take control of the country)! Dragon couldn't endanger the entire army to save a single member! Again if someone like Whitebeard was cautious in confronting Kaido over Wano, it makes perfect sense why Dragon wouldn't risk losing more people to rescue Ginny! I mean Ivankov was perfectly okay with waiting in Impel Down for Dragon and only got involved with the breakout to help Luffy save his brother (Ivankov wasn't aware of Ace's true parentage at the time)!
One Piece: 6 Characters Who Won't Be Involved In The Final Saga
There is no confirmation Big Mom is dead and certain DF effects can persist after the user dies like Hancock and S-Snake's DF as she confirmed anyone turned to stone by the user is permanently left in that state if the user dies and not even another user (successor or someone with a copy like S-Snake) can undo it! Same could apply to Big Mom's Homies cause they are animated by souls!
One Piece: Oda Just Made Loki's Case For The Final Straw Hat Stronger Than Ever
I still don't see Loki joining! I don't understand why people think he's going to join when he rejected Luffy's offer! I mean yes, he has a tragic backstory, but I see him as more of a rival to Luffy given his personality and bad blood with Shanks! Mind you he could ally himself with the Straw Hats against Imu, but that's as far as I think their relationship will go! Heck maybe Loki will stand up to Imu and earn the respect of his fellow Giants by resisting Imu's control!
One Piece: There Is A Hidden Swordsman Even Stronger Than Mihawk
I think its important to remember, the Elder has immortality, but we know Immortality can be countered with Haki, and no one would be surprised if Mihawk turns out to be a Conquer (given his rivalry with Shanks and Zoro its to be expected at this point) and I wouldn't be surprised if Mihawk can counter Nusjuro's immortality! I think its important to remember Kaido's statement regarding Haki being the Supreme power of the seas and Mihawk has a black blade and taught Zoro how to use Haki! I mean sure its possible Nusjuro is secretly the strongest swordsman, but who knows maybe Oda is planning on having Mihawk defeat Nusjuro to prove Mihawk is the strongest or Zoro will defeat Nusjuro only to reveal Mihawk is way stronger!
One Piece: Oda Finally Reveals The Big Secret Behind Loki's Eyes, And It's A New Power
I feel like the author is downplaying Observation Haki! We know blind individuals can use Observation Haki, so Loki being able to use Observation Haki to dodge while his eyes are covered makes perfect sense! Mind you its unclear if his eyes have any weird properties or its just superstition that lead him to being discriminated against by his own family!
One Piece: Imu's Introduction Has Changed Powerscaling Forever
Imu hasn't really changed Power scaling in One Piece as its counter to Oda's style! I mean Ace had Conquer's Haki and still lost to Akainu due to his Magma DF being superior to Ace's fire and the fact Ace was trying to shield Luffy from Akainu's attack with his body! Additionally Ace fought Akainu mainly cause he badmouthed Whitebeard which was Ace's berserk button!
Additionally characters routinely survive horrific injuries with little explaination beyond having really good doctors (in the manga the Issin-20 were able to surgically reattach Wapol's head after Dalton decapitated him) and/or having the ability to regenerate bones and teeth by drinking milk a trait which applies to abnormal individuals like the Straw Hats! DF powers and Haki bring alot to the table as well as with enough imagination its possible to turn seemingly harmless powers into strong ones through clever usage, combining them with other techniques/weapons, or Haki! Heck Luffy has sometimes used his opponents powers against them like infusing himself with 100 loose shadows or take advantage of their specific weaknesses like Crocodile's weakness to liquids and Enel's vulnerability to the god-like rubber body granted by the Nika Fruit (as Luffy was supernatually resistant to voltages that would tend to melt real world rubber)!
