Disagree entirely. Microsoft Xbox isn't going for a big launch. It's a Bethesda game which Microsoft bought because Sony was trying to pay extra for exclusivity. That and in 10 years hardware isn't going to matter. The PS6 will be a joke. Cloud gaming is where it all goes. Force everyone's hand on a gamepass subscription.
That's why they did what they did. They aren't after a big release.
Not to mention they just put Sony back of the bus by making it's community wait till 2025. Sony has way too many exclusives. Microsoft is all about cross platform and subscriptions. Because they own Bethesda I'll gurantee it doesn't leave game pass.
Also because cloud gaming doesn't require much hardware or storage just wait till that gets better. A smart TV will be a regular Xbox not to mention a Sony console lol.
