I'd say look into actual play shows on things like YouTube and Twitch to see what playing in a game like this can be like. Critical Role has a plethora of content displaying what got them to the point where they can make a game like Daggerheart, and show just how amazing TTRPG's can be. Other groups like Dimension 20 from Dropout are another great group. See what they do and specifically how they play these games. They emphasize being comfortable with those around you so everyone has as much fun as possible.
