Ceasar Clown is downright pathetic which makes him kinda hard to hate.

Judge Vinsmoke is overshadowed by bigger scumbags in the same arc, from Big Mom's family who bullied Pudding, to the Vinsmoke siblings themselves. I'd say ichiji and niji did much worse things than Judge, while he merely allowed it to happen.

I'd argue Doflamingo deserves a spot on the list for what he did to Rebecca, his utter disdain for his own brother, and generally scummy tactics he used to turn his victims against each other.

Also, Arlong is just one of the classics.

Though the fishman arc sort of puts Arlong into a bigger context, to a first time viewer he seems like the biggest piece of work in all anime

Lulu has some of the strongest Def and dodge stats on her skill path.

Even stronger than some of the physical characters, in fact.

Yuna is far harder to keep alive, which is probably why most players will put auto-life on her as soon as they get it.

Machi Pichu is great.

I know that many players simply restart a match if their start placement is sub-optimal, but I like to play casually.

One cleverly timed Machu Pichu can really upset the balance of power versus AI games.

I'll concede this will never happen if one assumes optimal plays for all.

In many ways, FFX-2 feels like the game they wanted to make, but had to "pay" for it by making FFX first.

The entire world map is available basically from the start.

The monster arena system is just a full-on game within a game. Even now I can scarcely believe they even did it, those madmen!

Blitzball is as fun as ever.

So many characters have their own optional side-plots with multiple ending variants.

The combat mechanics and mini-games are so whimsical and creative, you just know the developers had a blast making them.

The character writing and world building feels indulgent, like eating ice cream in front of a fireplace on a snowy winter night...

Sadly, that's also the games biggest weakness.

Unless you love the cast of FFX heroes specifically, it's very easy to bounce off the experimental game-feel and tone.

It's not a game for everyone, but if you love it, you LOVE it

Didn't need anything special either, because Riku's and Yuna's paths are connected.

He's by far the MOST useful party member, because he can replace anyone in any encounter.
