I stuck with overwatch since near after its intial launch in 2016 and theres a lot to love despite ow2's launch being riddled with arrogantly made mistakes assuming players would roll over for actively hurting the effort they put into overwatch intially.
jamie as someone who still plays constantly the marvel rival s experience atm is beyond frustrating, lol levels of toxicity from the community, bad balances, competitive in this game is literally a dumpster fire, gooner skins and deep pockets keep this game afloat and the amount of fun is in the negative.
Blizzard is blizzard but their games are fun, ow2 is still peak hero shooter despite aggressive cosmetic monetization, blizzards whole thing is make great game and monetize it to hell, recently it’s just been cosmetics BUT at least I can queue for ow2 ranked in normal or stadium and have people with braincells, sometimes in MR I get spider players who are straight ass but he’s their favorite character…marvel rivals has potential but casuals ruined the game when all they do is focus on that and gooners.
Valorant for example has more players and is a comp shooter with tailored casual modes and cosmetic only micros. MR failed for now.
I’m not saying it’s good or bad but physical releases for most games have been dying.
