Since Sony stated that PS4 support would stop in the beginning of 2026, it shouldn't be surprising that people are moving to the 5. I haven't, it's been out 4 years and still isn't worth a purchase beyond what Sony is forcing through stopping support to the 4.
When this event was announced, I worried it would be like the Necrozma event. And sadly, I was right. After 3 raids and getting 90 energy each time, I realized it would take me a total of 12 raids, which at 2 dollars a pass, is 24 dollars USD plus tax. That's not a celebration event, that's extortion.
