Only real reason naruto needed sasuke was bc all but half of his chakra was stolen and momoshiki absorbed what he took alongside kenshiki, which naruto and sasuke beaten pretty easily, if naruto hade his full strength and energy without momoshiki fused also absorbing it, naruto would probably slam him, just saying and I'd say most would agree with this too
If this doesn't happen, I'm gonna officially lose hope, bc this would make the most logical sense both lore wise and character wise, bc only powerful individuals with high chakra and control can be a jinchuriki, specially for the ten tails, human form or not and narutos the only one that fits those requirements without possible problems even more so with Jura wanting to learn and get to know what love really is whoch would probably let naruto seal him inside of naruto for the sole purpose and to potentially prevent any harm to those naruto cares about but also to safeguard naruto for juras personal reasons while subconsciously helping others
