Infinity Nikki Update Makes Unpopular Change
I'm also disappointed by the lack of focus on clothes in general in-game,... Despite them wanting people to buy premium outfits, but for what, to run around collecting pinecones in? Lol. There's so much less of a focus on the outfits and on styling which is what I love about Shining Nikki /Love Nikki.
Infinity Nikki Update Makes Unpopular Change
The disappointment must be coming from people brand-new not just to Infinity Nikki, but to prior Nikki games in general... LN (Love Nikki) and SN(Shining Nikki) because those of us playing IN now who have played/still do play LN and/or SN, even the f2p or v0 players, are allllll too familiar with the games' pop ups, menu on the side (curious if this can be minimized in IN like it can be in SN if not they should really consider implementing that feature asap) AND the gacha system is nothing new both previous games have gacha type "pavilions" and you get free daily tries on those then if you want to keep trying you'd have to buy more,or wait another 24 hrs. But those ones don't expire so you shouldn't buy attempts, just buy attempts for the time limited ones. Some gachas (pavilions) in LN/SN are event based and cost in-game currency purchased with real money. So this isn't new for IN either. These outfits aren't *needed* at all to play the game, even if they are beautiful or would be top scoring (IN has less focus on styling from what I've seen anyways). As a longtime player of LN and a player of SN for two years myself, and someone who spends but mostly just on monthly gem cards, I'm all too familiar with the money-grabbing techniques, and the sometimes intrusive pop ups about events you have to clear away, so I'm not surprised by any of it in IN. I understand they have to make money, but still. The pop ups on Shining Nikki, for example, I find to be way worse and far more intrusive. A big part of why things pop up in these games is because these events are (for the most part) time limited, and the pop ups serve as a reminder of how much time you have left to complete said event(s). Many times I thought an event ended tonight for example but it actually ended at server reset (server time is definitely important to familiarize yourself with if you are going to participate in any time limited events). Anyway, don't be intimidated; you DON'T have to spend real mon
