The grenade build is pretty much the standard basic build. Personally by the time I hit cruel they were supplementary to my room clearing galvanic bolts. Specing into armor break, bleed, ricochet, and penetration. Toss in herald of fire and the lightning banner. For single targets just use normal bolts with envenom with the plague gem. All of them stack.
