Absolutely not. Zombies Grief in Black Ops 6 has been a major disappointment. After a 10-year absence, fans expected a phenomenal return—something that honored the original, chaotic, competitive style that made Grief so iconic.
Instead, what we got feels watered down and stripped of the spirit that defined the mode. There’s minimal opportunity for true player-versus-player sabotage, the mechanics feel overly restricted, and the chaos that once made it fun is practically gone. Many players online are voicing their frustration over the lack of tension and the forced cooperation, which defeats the very essence of what Grief was supposed to be.
Treyarch had a chance to bring back one of the most beloved Zombies sub-modes with a modern twist, but what we got doesn’t come close to living up to its legacy.
