Article states there is no grass focused trainer. This is incorrect there is Erica which heals 50 damage from any grass Poke'mon. Combined with Venusaur's attack, and potions that is a lot of healing, and can make Venusaur good against Pikachu. Mewtwo can still almost always 2 shot though. Articuno will deal basically no damage, because Erica and Venusaur's attack heals the 80 it would do. Grass is in a terrible spot, but that is because it is slowish, and Erica isn't as strong as Lt. Surge or Misty which excel energies. There isn't a Psychic, Dragon, Metal, or meta Fire trainer (Blaine sucks) in the game though.
