Films need conflict and drama. Meanwhile, the player in Dreamlight Valley is an excellent therapist and many of the quests revolve around awarding a villager one (1) coping skill. And I am here for it.

I really really want the next game to be a totally unrelated title set in a magitek city. Then toward the end of the game there's a massive earthquake and bam, the whole city drops onto the Iberian peninsula. It is 856, and we're in a prequel to Drakengard.

(Also, we got a direct story sequel to Automata with Reincarnation...)

Gameloft will have plenty of data on how many people bought one, both, or neither. If it proves that a significant number of people have only one, then they probably won't try something like that again. I would honestly be surprised if a significant proportion of users have only one--I suspect it will be both or neither.

1000xResist! Not only is the cast stuffed with a variety of complicated women, it also grapples with the diaspora experience in a way that is nuanced and specific while remaining accessible to others. It is an absolute triumph of storytelling.

No mention of the people that do like the path? It's currently spring for half the planet, and despite what the internet would have you believe, Halloween is rarely observed outside the US. I've seen plenty of discussion from people who are ready to rock or just happy to have someone different for once. I think cottage-core kiddos are just discovering that they're not the primary target audience for the game and are up in their feelings about it. You're not really helping matters by amplifying those complaints tbh
