Kingdom hearts came out when I was 12 and as a kid who grew up with Disney movies but also played all the final fantasy games the combination of the two is what sold the entire franchise to me. I do like the original KH characters and all but I truly dont see why you can't give us 1 final fantasy world each game. There are over 16 different worlds with all the final fantasy being different games etc. Why not cancel one Disney world and give us a midgar, spira, Gaia etc. It would fit in perfectly

Lol but is that relatable? Lol aerith is the last survivor of an ancient race and holed up in shinra like a science experiment. Very few people could go through what they went through and stay cheery and positive. I think Tifa is the more relateable/realistic. She also is mostly positive and tries to help everyone but you see more of her uncertainty and full range of emotions. She is doing her best with the situation she has gone through in life. Losing her village and parents and basically everything to shinra, being severely injured, rebuilding a life, almost losing it to shinra again. Throughout her journey we see a lot of her emotions her sorrow, her anger and hatred for shinra, her ability to let go mostly of revenge and try to rebuild her life, her happiness for the life she has found despite the struggle, her trying to do the right thing but also questioning whether it is or not. Her main reason for taking down shinra isn't simply revenge but because she thinks its the right thing to do. Yet bombing them and see their response and how it negatively impacts the people in the slums has her questioning whether what they are doing is actually right or not. She struggles but still pushes on making the beat of her situation. When she noticed clouds identity crisis and other things wrong with him she doesnt call him out but tries to help him out but being unsure the best way to do that. I think many can relate to doing your best and being very unsure what you should be doing but still pushing through and making the best out of bad situations. Lol and many can relate to crippling medical debt and working your a** off to pay it. I also like aerith but Tifa is the best FF character imo maybe one of the best video game characters ever.

Yea idk its subjective i guess and its very hard to choose only 8 characters out of 20ish games 2 being MMORPGS with dozens of characters however this list is... Not what I would consider lol not sure what metrics are being used however its crazy that Tifa isn't on here. If you go to any anime conventions in the US you will see more Tina's than any other FF character. Of course that could just be because people like dressing up as her more but still. Growing up in the 90s my favorites are 7-10. It might be a bit basic to have mostly main characters but Cloud, Squall, Zidane, and Tidus are up there.
