Dragon Age Creator Addresses Veilguard's 'Woke' Criticism
Uhhh...dragon 2 and Inquisition are also diverse in that sense. There's Isabela, Fenris and Sebastian in dragon age 2 and Inquisition we have Dorian, Josephine, Vivienne and many other. Dragon age has always been racially diverse, maybe not always with it's main characters but you will definitely meet a lot of non-white characters. Also there's a lore reason for it all. The first 3 games take place in the southern part of thedas (the continent in which the stories take place) which according to the lore tends to have people of much lighter skin. But then as you go north, the skin colours of people encounter tend to get darker. Veilguard is the first game in the franchise that takes us far north hence why a lot of the diversity.
It's about time too imo. I've always wanted to see what tevinter is like.

Honey, the magic in dragon age is not all powerful. If it was, characters like Cassandra and The Iron bull wouldn't look the way they do. Just because it's fictional fantasy, doesn't mean anything and everything goes.
