Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
10 /10

One of the greatest RPGs ever made. Any complaints or gripes I may have about the game are so minor that they can't detract from the perfection that is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. I can't wait to see what Sandfall does next.

Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening

This was the first Devil May Cry game I had ever played. Between the music and over-the-top action, there is a lot to like here. While Devil May Cry 3 can be quite difficult, it feels very rewarding to play.

This game has no business being as addicting as it is. The gameplay is simple, yet some of the later stages can prove to be a real challenge. If you are looking for a good puzzle game, then I can't recommend Peggle enough.

Super Mario World

The first game I ever played on the Super Nintendo, and also my first console game. Super Mario World is a timeless 2D platformer, and if you like that style of gameplay you will love Super Mario World. While it is nowhere near as difficult as Super Mario Bros 3, some of the bonus levels are quite challenging.

This is a pretty solid adaptation of the card game for mobile devices. I especially like how much PvE content there is in this game as well.

I wish that they had kept Life Points to 8,000 rather than setting it to 4,000, as games feel too short.

Halo 4

Halo 4 may not have been as good as any of Bungie's original Halo games, but it was 343's best Halo game. The multiplayer was decent and the campaign was enjoyable, though the new enemies got annoying after a while. This game also looked fantastic on the Xbox 360.

My all-time favorite Pokemon game. Pokemon Gold and Silver took everything that made Red and Blue great and improved on it further.

It also added unique features like a day/night cycle along with events that happened on certain days of the week, which was something you didn't really see in console games at the time.

Overall, Pokemon Gold and Silver were great games that are worth playing if you haven't done so already.

When I played this game, I didn't quite know what to expect. Slay the Princess isn't a particularly long game, but the amount of different storylines makes it interesting enough to play through again to see how differently things can go.

Combine that with the unique art style, great music, and stellar voice acting, and you've got a recipe for a horrifying visual novel that will stick with you for years to come.
